TheEducation Leaders Awards 2023 were held on Monday 3of July, at the Conference Centre of the University of West Attica, for 8th year by BOUSSIAS events. Education Leaders Awards 2023 promote and award the educational units and activities and the Faculty of the year, with the aim to improve the education for both students and teachers in this new digital era.
The Health Planning unit of the Division of Social Medicine together with the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning (KEDIVIM) of the University of Crete, were awarded with the first prize for the Educational Training program: “Doctors as Health Coach for Chronic respiratory diseases”. The Principal Investigator, Tsiligianni Ioanna, Associate Professor of General Medicine and Public Health, the Katerina Boulougari, PhD candidate, School of Medicine and the team that contributed towards the realization of this program, have dedicated the award to all the doctors that participated, in Greece and Cyprus, that were willing to explore an alternative way to communicate with their patients.
